Default LVM2 / Fedora 11

I am not looking for any details at this times of one product over the next. However, I have tried PING, Clonezilla, and Monde Rescue with no success. I understand I am on the edge of a new flavor of Fedora.

Can anyone offer suggestions of other backup software I could try for preferably bare-metal and the typical type backups. Recommendations are appreciated.

Thank you.

You could try LVM snapshots. This tutorial should give you the idea: http://www.howtoforge.com/linux_lvm_snapshots
