Arrow Ubuntu 8.04 server edition ISPconfig installation error [UPDATED!]

I can't install ISPconfig. I have installed ubuntu using perfect setup Ubuntu 8.04. I installed ISPconfig in simple mode (not advanced). I suchessfully installed ISPconfig on Ubuntu 7.10 about a year ago but with 8.04 I have problems.

I am using AMD64 version of Ubuntu.
I had one problem during perfect setup :
Quote:
Edit /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/php5.conf and comment out the following lines:
I didn't find there php5.conf file and I made a new one.
I am using domain server1.example.com where example.com is domain located in my production server (Ubuntu 7.10) in data center. I havent done any DNS records of example.com for my new server.

It seems, I have OpenSSL error:
Code:
configure: error: Cannot find OpenSSL's <evp.h>

I removed openssl and installed it, reconfigured postfix delete install_ispconfig folder and tried to run setup again but still this problem...
Maybe I need to change something in dist.txt or run setup in expert mode. I use default dist.txt. Can someone can send me dist.txt for ubuntu 8.04 Server edition AMD64?

I have installed apt-get install xubuntu-desktop for easy perfect setup (copy & paste all things from firefox but change only example.com to mydomain.com)

You missed to install the oipenssl development packages from ubuntu. They are named openssl-dev if I remember correctly.

By the way, bumping a thread every few hours might cause the thread to not be answered So better be a bit more patient
