Debian Sarge, ISPConfig, perfect setup followed, email can't login!

Heya,

I followed the perfect setup for Sarge. I used to use FC4 but I got annoyed with it and decided to go to Debian Sarge. Big mistake so far.

I decided to go with Courier and enable Maildir. It didn't work. I removed Courier and went back over the directions and set it back to default. Or so I thought.

I now get the following error when trying to authenticate the email accounts which its probably worth mentioning I made before removing Courier and disabling Maildir and starting over.

"Plaintext authentication is not supported for this account."

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I just made an account AFTER I disable Courier and Maildir and it does the same thing

Actually don't worry, I've found a million other problems with the Sarge setup that I'm just going to wipe it and start afresh. Hopefully it'll work OK then.

Please follow this tutorial: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_debian_sarge as close as possible, and try to avoid typos. If you use an SSH client like PuTTY on Windows, you can simply copy and paste the commands from the tutorial.
