Question Install SquirrelMail with yum on ISPConfig server?

Is it possible to do a yum install of SquirrelMail and get it to work well on an ISPConfig server? I know there's a SquirrelMail plugin and a HowTo on this site but there's no mention of how updates are handled.

I like the idea of being able to use yum update to update SquirrelMail rather than doing a manual install. That makes it simple to update most of the software on my server.

If you install squirrelmail with yum, it is installed in the main apache webserver and will either conflict with the websites that you created in ISPConfig or will not be accessible.

Get ISPConfig support and the ISPConfig 3 manual from ispconfig.org.
