I started from the beginning...and got the same results. The password choked. This is the error message:
ERROR:1045: Access denied for user:'root@localhost' (Using password:YES)
ERROR: The provided MySQL password is wrong! The installation routine stops here! Is there a way to reconfigure/edit the MySQL password? Thank you...
