is this possible to use ispconfig in this manner (ie., not use all of its functionality)?

Also, for mail, what is the best way to migrate?
We use Debian, sendmail, squirrelmail, and are converting to maildirs. We are on a short time table and are thinking of moving the mail to the new server for now and then later installing ispconfig. is that advisable?
ISPConfig should be installed first and used to create the email accounts as your manual mail setup will be most likely not compatible with ISPConfig.
