Seems as if Mandriva 10.2 does not have a driver for it... Maybe you should try a distribution that is known for having drivers for almost all hardware (well, normally Mandriva is one of those distributions, but not in your case, apparently ) like Knoppix (it's not only a Live-CD, you can also install it on your hard disk) or SuSE.
