Is the kernel in the openvz repository active developed?

I had some problems with bugs in the kernel from debian repository and found the proxmox kernel to be the best developed openvz kernel for debian (1 year ago)

@till: do you think this is still fact?

Here I posted some hints on how to install the proxmox kernel in debian:

But if you decide to use the proxmox kernel:
Make a backup of all config files in /etc/vz/conf before installation and before each update of the kernel.
So you can copy them back if they are moved or modified during installation or update. See my post for more info.
