cat /proc/user_beancounters sends this output:

...means "no such file or directory"
Sorry for my error, I didn't know this about SFTP :-)
So I suppose no FTP is working....
Also, I tried o restart pure-ftpd this way :

/etc/init.d/pure-ftpd-mysql restart
...but it doesn't change anything.
