Will it be sufficient just to add the following lines to dist.txt for installation on a Debian 5.0.9?
Quote:
dist_init_scripts=/etc/init.d ## # debian509
dist_runlevel=/etc ## # debian509
dist_smrsh=/etc/mail/smrsh ## # debian509
dist_shells=/etc/shells ## # debian509
dist_http_user=www-data ## # debian509
dist_http_group=www-data ## # debian509
dist_bind_init_script=bind9 ## # debian509
dist_bind_user=bind ## # debian509
dist_bind_group=bind ## # debian509
dist_bind_conf=/etc/bind/named.conf ## # debian509
dist_bind_dir=/etc/bind ## # debian509
dist_bind_pidfile=/var/run/bind/run/named.pid ## # debian509
dist_bind_hintfile=db.root ## # debian509
dist_bind_localfile=db.local ## # debian509
dist_passwd=/etc/passwd ## # debian509
dist_shadow=/etc/shadow ## # debian509
dist_group=/etc/group ## # debian509
dist_cron_daemon=cron ## # debian509
dist_cron_tab=/var/spool/cron/crontabs/root ## # debian509
dist_mysql_group=mysql ## # debian509
dist_httpd_daemon=apache2 ## # debian509
Or is it a better idea to update Debian to 603 first? What are the entries with debian 609 are for? For releases to come in the future?
