If you just want to run one web site, then ISPConfig is possibly overkill.

Possibly related, what is the best way to have access to our web apps from the internet with a regular cable internet access account (dynamic ip)?
I suggest you get a hostname from and use this hostname for the web site on the local server. You must configure your router to forward port 80 to your local server.
