It's not complicated at all. Put the CD in the drive, run the installer, relax while it installs, reboot and then begin using it like you would any normal PC.
What is so hard or different about that?
This isn't really part of this topic though - as the discussions on the merits of running Linux on an xbox are long since over.
When I am away from home it will work as a cheap, efficient file server - and when I am at home, it works as a media center and an internet radio player. That is already enough justification for installing Linux.
