Is this the right parameter? It this is for configtest:
root@server1:/etc/apache2# apache2ctl configtest
Syntax OK
root@server1:/etc/apache2# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
* Starting web server apache2 [fail]
root@server1:/etc/apache2#
