If you are not using xinetd, verify the following line is commented out

/etc/rkhunter.conf
Code:
#XINETD_CONF_PATH=/etc/xinetd.conf
It needs the # at the start of the line to comment it out


If you ARE using xinetd, make sure the path is correct
