Default empty lines appearently causing trouble!

I just noticed that the line numbers in each "command not foundthd" error correspond to the lines that are completely blank in /etc/default/saslauthd, so the errors must be referring to that file. I'm not sure why blank lines would cause errors!? I'm investigating now.
