I get this error when I try to run the flex install

Quote:
root@server1:/home/admin# apt-get install flex

Package flex is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
E: Package flex has no installation candidate
root@server1:/home/admin#
Any ideas how to fix this?
