OK! got the message. Reinstall.

I have started again an lo an behold things have progressed further for me. Yes.

1. However have run into a few more issues at the telnet section :-
# telnet 127.0.0.0
Trying 127.0.0.0...
telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.0: Connection refused

continued with install

2. I have now had to stop at Page 5 - 11 Apache = PHP 5
first section ran ok.
second section only the first command ran all the other 6 commands in this seq. returned the following:-

# yast2 -i apache2 apache2-devel apache2-mod_perl apache2-mod_php5 apache2-prefork perl-HTML-Parser perl-HTML-Tagset perl-Tie-IxHash perl-URI perl-libwww-perl php5 php5-devel zlib zlib-devel
# yast2 -i php5-bcmath php5-bz2 php5-calendar php5-ctype php5-curl
# php5-dbase php5-dom php5-ftp php5-gd php5-gettext php5-gmp
-bash: php5-dbase: command not found
# php5-dbase php5-dom php5-ftp php5-gd php5-gettext php5-gmp
-bash: php5-dbase: command not found
# php5-iconv php5-imap php5-ldap php5-mbstring php5-mcrypt php5-mysql
-bash: php5-iconv: command not found
# php5-ncurses php5-odbc php5-openssl php5-pcntl php5-pgsql
-bash: php5-ncurses: command not found
# php5-posix php5-shmop php5-snmp php5-soap php5-sockets php5-sqlite
-bash: php5-posix: command not found
# php5-sysvsem php5-tokenizer php5-wddx php5-xmlrpc php5-xsl
-bash: php5-sysvsem: command not found
# php5-zlib php5-exif php5-fastcgi php5-pear php5-sysvmsg php5-sysvshm ImageMagick curl
-bash: php5-zlib: command not found
#
It looks bad yet again - such a straightforward install giving me a head bashing time.

But we learn from our mistakes - any idea what i have missed this time?

Dont think it wise going on any further,Ill wait a reply.
Thanks
