Upgrading your phpbb forum seems quite a good...

Upgrading your phpbb forum seems quite a good idea.

But, if that's not possible, you can put your forum on a dedicated site, stacking it up with your main site isn't a good practice.

Good idea, a cheap and easy solution is a program called backup-manager on debian.

To install it :

apt-get install backup-manager

When done you should edit the file /etc/backup-manager.conf...
