had to set chmod -R 775 /srv/www/ispconfig
Now it works.

I think there has to be a problem on the Suse Install Or the ispconfig 3 installer for Suse 12.x

I created on a New different PC A SuSe install ( 12.2 )

Can It be done

:DCan I add ispconfig to my current DNS server,

By that I mean, can I just add the needed parts to my centos 5.9 server , running bind9, setup the mysql etc etc. as per all these great tutorials...

Simple rookie mistake.
error in
/etc/hosts

it had
127.0.0. 1 ns1.test1.com ns1

Changed it to
192.168.11.1 ns1.test1.com ns1

Well, figured it out

Basicall just re-run the items below but change the test IP address`s for real ones.
and replacee fake server name with real ones in mysql and /etc/hosts file.

Well , I ran the upgrade to 3.0.5 RC1

On DNS zones page I now see a drop down option to change records per page,

It work so far so good.

If you are to rsync to a second server, it is better to have the OS`s the same
as well as the ispconfig.

On the 2nd server, you can run this command ( all on one line )
I use ssh on port 2222
...

Still curious as to where mydsnconfig stores the " root" server info, is it in the mysql database ?
