If you wanna keep older logs and they are not compressed — like on many Ubuntu 8.04 — you can run this script.

I just call it from cron, every 2nd of the month and save the output in a logfile....

Like, when you wanna go through a log file e.g.

"Page Dn" does a page down, when you open a file with F4, for editing!

a dutch friend has offered me sharing a server he needed to get for some Windows stuff.
