fail2ban tutorial - apache-auth filter

Hello

In the fail2ban tutorial the apache log filters are set as:

[apache-auth]

However, ISPConfig records an htaccess login failures as: (see attached error_log.txt)

I have checked:

/home/www/web[n]/logs/error.log

They do not detect failed htaccess/ftp login attempts.

Should they?

Here is how you do it for anybody else who is having the problem.

1. Edit your "group" file.
