This is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head. Did you specify "443" when ISPConfig asked which port to make the interface available on?

I created a multiserver installation script for ISPConfig3 on Debian Squeeze. It seems to work well but it never hurts to have others take a look, especially if everything looks good and someone else...
