ispconfig3 upgrade breaks dovecot (still) and a question on Linode and another item!

Just a report did the upgrade to current ispconfig and mail stopped flowing - dug into it and found the dovecot conf file pointing to the wrong place is still there.

fixed it with the ln commands:...

tried to do something simple - add SSL to one of my sites.

I'm digging into my joomla back end problem and I notice that the joomla was built with mysqli as the database type now when I created the database it needs under ispconfig3 - the only database type...

I note that --enable-cgi apparently was ignored as of 5.3.28 (there is no such listed, and there IS a -disable-cgi option so I guess fastcgi is the default now?)

Yea- this was a winning idea! LOL

Ok I decided that was not worth it.
KVM does however allow winxp and win7 guests.. but not worth the headaches.
