Hi,

I've been looking at ways to get the "best" performance from my resources (i.e. fast-cgi, php caching etc) , and I thought that the best idea is to cache in front of apache, i.e. with squid.

I hate finding, unfinished threads on google, so I think the answer to my own question is no. looks like there might be an answer using fastcgi+suexec then a php accelerator, but lots more googling...

Does anyone know of a php accelerator which is compatible with suphp??

(I've tried both mmcache & eaccelerator and they both complain).

fair enough, I seen "thank you" buttons on other forums, i.e. the thread isn't rated, but the poster gets positive feedback for contributing... would that be just as bad ?

Right, the entry in isp_nodes for my website had gone, so all the entries for the db users and e-mail pointed to the wrong parent in isp_dep ! I've just corrected isp_dep, now...
