If I was to install a fresh ISPConfig 3 on a new server, would it have the same capabilities for auto account creation the remoting framework provides for ISPConfig 2?

How do you actually use the hosting plans created in ISPConfig 2?

I see they are created, but no way to assign them to a users ispconfig login account and info.

Joomla Components require an xml file & stuff.

I think $web_adminuserid is for the remoting frameworks created web admin.. but not sure what the variable is to set the webadmin...

Okay,

I went to the ISPConfig control panel - Management - Settings - Web and uncheckmarked the SUEXEC box.

I guess i wasnt using it anyways because the warnings disappeared at bootup.

Okay I did the dist-upgrade from etch to lenny successfully. Everything seems to work fine however on the bootup i get the following errors.

/etc/default/saslauthd (Warning: shortname undefined)...

Did you have to make these changes when dist-upgrading from ETCH to LENNY?

vhost file changed during upgrade

Yeah well the vhost file was blank after upgrade on my cousin kextra1's machine I remember.

it was the 2.2.29 to 2.2.30 upgrade that wrote a blank vhost file. I copied a backup copy of the vhosts...
