That did the trick! All my packages were via 64...

That did the trick! All my packages were via 64 and I guess ISP config was looking for the 32 bit version of openssl-dev. Now I wonder if there are any other outstanding issues like this.

Well that is install but I must still be missing something, little diffrent error this time. Its clear though configure: error: Cannot find OpenSSL's libraries.

So I was able to get past it by adding the missing } but that did not resolve the issue.
