vmware: no 3D support is available from the host

In an ubuntu 12.04 64bit pc, I created a Windows7 VM in VMWare. Uppon startup VMWare displayed the following messages:

I received the message in my inbox hours after the incident. So I had no chance to investigate online the cpu usage.

MUNIN graphs of cpu revealed nothing extraordinary. Generally low cpu usage....

monit: cpu wait usage of 99.9% matches resource limit [cpu wait usage>20.0%]

Sometimes I get these messages from monit and I can't understand why they occur or what they mean. I checked munin and I do not see anything abnormal in cpu usage.

Since I only want to receive emails when an error...

Since I only want to receive emails when an error occurs, I decided to drop postfix and use msmtp, a simple nullclient software.

Worked like a charm. Case closed.

how do I change the sysadmin email?

I want the admin/root (not sure about the difference) email to be xyz@gmail.com. So all problems should report there (from munin, monit, whatever).

I think the server tries to send error messages...

They were already set to 0. I just saved it...
