I already solved it with recreating /root/ispconfig and running the installer again.
Also I had to recreate the ssl certificates before apache was running again

What's the drawback...

Well maybe phpMyAdmin doesn't offer gzip compression for SQL, but still it does offer Open Document download, for which gzip-compression is needed.
It doesn't work now and will confuse customers.
