Multiple sites -> same admin user
Quick question.
I have several sites set up and all is working well. I want to use roundcube and have followed the perfect setup guide. The problem is I do not want to create a new user to be the main admin for the new site, I would like to use an existing user for this. When I try to use an existing user I get " The user with the name 'username' does already exist." Can I do this or do I always need to create a new user for each site. I have mutliple sites I want to create from my main domain and a new user for each doesn't seem very ideal. Site example: webmail.domain.com, geneology.domain.com, blog.domain.com etc. Thanks in advance. |
You need a unique FTP admin user for every site beacuse a linux user can ahve only one home directory, but clients can manage multiple websites in the ISPConfig interface.
