Python with ISPConfig 3.0.5.1

I created a new site where I would like to use Python.

ISPConfig was installed following the "Perfect Server" for Debian 6 (and updated) and the "Python" checkbox is checked in the site configuration page, but I notice that it is not enough.

Can you give me some guidance?

Must also be checked CGI?
The .py file must be placed in the cgi-bin?
Apache directives should be added?
If so, have you an example?
Is there anything else to install or configure?

Thanks for any help.

The "Python" checkbox in the website settings enables mod_python for .py files in the web directory. Please check if the mod_python package (dont remember the correct name, must be something like libapache....python) is installed na enabled in apache.
