Help Cron (and) ISPConfig

I am trying to use a cron job with centos in crontab. I am using the following line, and the script does not update the database, the only thing it does is make the main.log file.

* * * * * /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/html/scripts/status_checker/demo/index.php > /var/www/html/scripts/status_checker/demo/main.log

--

I also tried to install ISPConfig, but it isn't reachable on :8080, all it shows is a blank page, and earlier it was showing the default apache page.

--
I would like to try to get the cron job working, if I can't do it I would like to use ISPConfig.

Help would be appreciated!

Which guide (URL) did you use to set up the system?

Did you notice any errors during ISPConfig installation?
