Question regarding iptables
Hi all,
I'm using IPSConfig in a multiserver environnement and it's working as fine. I'm working to implement an extended IPtables rules for ISPConfig server because basic firewall is very ... basic. I'm regarding about source code and I see that extra IPtables fonctions are currently disabled (sql table exist, some templates ou script are missing but other are ready to work). So I think that a core developper work on this and I would know the current state of this developpement and perhaps a deliver date. Thanks, Yannick |
About which ispconfig version are you talking?
|
the last stable version (3.0.4.6).
In /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/admin/iptables* In /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/admin/templates/iptables* In /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/admin/list/iptables* ... Link this are comment in /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/admin/lib/module.conf.php |
files are also present in 3.0.5 rc1.

This is a unfinished approach which has been abandoned. The files will get removed. Starting with ispconfg 3.0.5, ispconfig supports ufw were you can configure custom rules which are not supported by the ispconfig interface with the ufw command(s).

I'm testing 3.0.5rc1 by upgrading 3.0.4.6 on a squeeze install, with ufw not installed. Upgrading ISPConfig is not a problem and iptables -L show rules a,d chain.
How is introduce ufw ? Thanks. Yannick |
