howto for Samba Domaincontroller on openSUSE

Hello,
i couldnt find any related howtos.
I need to setup a samba Domaincontroller,
the officila documentation seems a bit overkill.

one point that will be interesting is to get windows Xp and Windows 7 Clients in one samba system.
Is it enough to just rename the profilefolder to name.V2?
