ISPConfig server also a MySQL replication slave
Hello,
I'd like to migrate one of our servers hosting a bunch of email and websites to ISPConfig, but this machine also acts as a MySQL replication slave for other servers. I did a little search, but only found references to replication in ISPConfig 3, and not in the current version. I have no problem setting up a MySQL replication slave independent of ISPConfig, but I just wanted to know if the ISPConfig configuration would conflict with the MySQL replication config? Has anyone use MySQL replication on their ISPConfig server? |
I dont think there are any conflicts. ISPConfig uses only a "normal" mysql database to store its information. If you replicate the database will not affect ISPConfig.
