Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Reason: You're speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port.
Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL, please.
How can I redirect permanent to https on port 4444.
I'm running Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) DAV/2 PHP/5.3.3 mod_ssl/2.2.15 OpenSSL/1.0.0-fips on Centoo 6.

That's not possible. You have to use the correct scheme from the beginning because you cannot run http and https on the same port.
