roundcube on debian 6
hi all,
i have just finished installing roundcube (0.7.4) on debian 6 and it works on my network internally without an issue through the browser, but i am confused as to which ports i need to open on my router (billion 7800N) to get it working from an external network browser. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, shannon |
Since it's a web interface, you must open port 80 if you use http or port 443 if you use https.
|
thanks for that.
i assume port 25 has to be open as well for smtp traffic? |
Yes, open that as well.
|
ports 25, 80 and 443 are now open.
i can send email out but incoming email does not work? when i check my A and MX records, they point to the right server/address. any thoughts? |
Are there any errors in your mail log (in the /var/log/ directory)?
