Switching slave to nginx (Ubuntu precise)

Hello,

I'm running Ubuntu precise with ISPConfig + apache in slave mode.

Today I tried to switch to nginx. I followed the manual:

- Stop apache
- Install nginx + php5-fpm + fcgiwrap
- insserv -r apache2

After that I did an ispconfig update

But the update process looks like as usual (apache I mean). After that in the master's panel the slave server is identified like apache.

What is wrong please?

Switching a server from apache to nginx is not supported as it will break the server and all sites. If a server is apache or nginx is detecetd by the install.php script and not update.php script for that reason, so if you want to switch this server to ngix, then format the server, delete the server record for this server in the master ispconfig database and then reinstall it as described in the nginx guide and assign it again to the master server.
