mail.mydoamin.co.uk loops back to myself
Hi i am running ispconfig 3 on ubuntu 10.4 LTS
i have a bunch of mail domains which all seem to work fine except for one which for some reason bounces mail when i send mail to it. the mailbox is valid but i get this message when i send from my hotmail account This is the Postfix program at host mail.mydomain.com.au. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster> If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. The Postfix program <email@mydomain.co.uk>: mail for mail.mydomian.co.uk loops back to myself note i have replaced the actual domain name with "mydomain" I have deleted the domain and all accounts and then reentered them but it has made no differance any clues what to do next?? |
oops sorry ignore this, i found the problem was a dns entry that was pointing to my old mail server.
so all working fine cheers |
