since this howto was created in march 2009 is there anything I should be aware of when installing on debian squeeze?

I have now installed amavisd-new spamassassin clamav clamav-daemon on squeeze

I was thinking also of installing squirrel mail the only 2 points i have is

a) I have postfix installed with tls there is no SMTP-AUTH, mysql,
courier, imap, sasl, is this a problem?

B) Does squirrel mail depend on libpam-smbass, phpmyadmin?

Well, you need to have a POP3/IMAP server (Courier/Dovecot/...) installed because otherwise SquirrelMail cannot access a mailbox.

Not sure about the first one, but it does not depend on phpMyAdmin.
