CentOS 5.6 ispconfig3 fail2ban is not installed on this server
 

Hi!

i've looked in the services, it is installed and running, nothing is inside fail2ban.log, and in services it says fail2ban (pid3491) is running status |- Number of jail: 0
`- Jail list: i tried to restart fail2ban but still the same result.

Found a post on another forum..perhaps it will help..

"I removed the yum version. I feel 0.8.1 or so.
Installed 0.8.4 from sources, and default rule sets working now.
The date format is ISO 8601, hence the logs were not parsed correctly earlier."
