[Solved] can't send/recieve email postfix/smtpd
 
Just installed ispconfig3 on ubuntu 10.04 as "the perfect server" guide shows. However I can't send or recieve emails.

This is what it says my mail log:

amavisd seems not to be started. Pkease start the amavis daemon with its startscript in /etc/init.d/

It was a problem with the host name in /etc/amavis/conf.d/05-node_id, I corrected it and amavisd starts fine and it works to both send and recieve email!

Hello.
I am also unable to send/receive emails. When sending with webmail, message is stored in sent folder, but not actually sent.

Can you please advise me how to solve this. I am new with ISPConfig.

What's your distribution? Please make sure that clamd is running.
