Some Questions

Hi folks,

nice tool. I installed it yesterday for the first time on my new server. I used VHCS on my old server and I love ISPConfig... but I still have some problems / questions.

HTTP or HTTPS
Is it possible to run die ISPConfig on HTTP and HTTPS? Because I would prefer to encrypt the connection with SSL, but at work all SSL sites are blocked. So I need HTTP too.

eMail/Webuser
I creates some users for email adresses. I can give them webspace (default -1). I don't want my email-users to have ftp access or at least no webspace. I tried to set the webspace MB to "0" but the user can upload files to the users/<username>/web directory

SSL Certificate for ISPConfig and eMail
A message is prompted that the SSL certificate can't be validated. Ok, that's because it's not registred with a major authority. In Thunderbird/Firefox i can accept this certificate so I don't get asked again if I want to accept it.
The problem is that everytime I restart my Browser/Mailclient and connect to the server a message appears that the "Domain" und "Owner" (not sure about the last thing) is not the same. It says the domain is <example.com> and the Owner is <John Doe> for example. I'll try to generate new certificates later this day. I think this would help with the last message.

Subdomains

ClamAV
I've already read that mails with a virus are dropped. But is it possible to inform the user or at least the administrator that there was a eMail with a virus?

I think that's all for the moment... it should be enough to answer.

Thanks for you help in advance.

Greeting.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english, I'm better in spoken english than in written :)

You would have to tweak /root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/httpd.conf for this, but then you'd lose the ability to update ISPConfig (because when you update, your customizations get overwritten).

This will be possible in a future version of ISPConfig.

Not without changing the sources, and then again you'd lose the capability to update.

Hey, thanks a lot... that's what I call a fast response :)

I think i'll change over from HTTPS to HTTP... would be the best solution.
