Change SquirrelMail to Roundcube (Perfect Ubuntu 10.04)
Hello,
I have followed the "Perfect server Ubuntu 10.04 ISPconfig3" and it is working perfect, thank you Falko. Now I wish to use Roundcube as webmail client instead of Squirrelmail. Are there any HowTo for this small action. I have looked in the forum but I cannot get the Roundcube to work at all therefor I need some help. To start - should I use the apt to install roundcube? I tried that. /Pelle |
I believe that after you installed Roundcube you should only have to change the /var/www/webmail symbolic link from /usr/share/squirrelmail to /usr/share/roundcube. (Or the locations applicable to your setup.)
I replaced the webmail symlink with a small menu page that lets the user select between SquirrelMail, RoundCube or Horde. Seems to work well. |
(Excuse me for my english)
Could you put the code of that small menu page? Thanks. |
Yes. Very simple, just links. mail_link_1 2 3 are symlinks that point to /usr/share/squirrelmail etc.
