ERROR: The URL is not reachable! The installation routine stops here!

I got here, I made one little error. I am assuming I should have typed in server1 instead of www. (http://server1.sinanoffice.com) displays the default fedra apache page, so I am assuming this is correct.

Is there anyway to re-initiate the install proccess from here without having to re-compile and delete everything? It takes sooo long everytime.

thank you.

Yes, you can change the config files manually. The apache config of the controlpanel server is here:

/root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

The ISPConfig configuration file is here:

/home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php

getting the same problem. pls help.

shart & all,

I am getting the same problem installing ISPConfig.
When it prompts for
Please enter the domain (e.g. xyz.de):www.mydomainname.com
then I get ERROR: The URL is not reachable! The installation routine stops here!

When I checked for the suggested solution the file
/root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
does not exists yet.

How did you get the installation working?
What are the valid values for the domain name?

Thanks.
Al
