Help with DNS configuration (understanding DNS setup)
 

Hello everyone. Recently, I set up a ISPConfig on a server and I had a couple of questions regarding the DNS setup. I'm new to this, and I just want to understand how the interface/system works.

I want to have two DNS servers:

ns1.domain.com
ns2.domain.com

I want all of the sites that I install to resolve to those name servers. From what I guess, it seems like all I have to do is setup two master servers with those addresses right? I can't tell if this is right or not though. What happens when I add new.domain.com? Is that information saved on ns1 & ns2? I've been looking for a simple sort of "understanding ISPConfig DNS" but haven't found anything.
