Mandriva free 2009 fail to start after update

I don't know why my mandriva fail to start after update. Please help me what should I do to correct this problem. My Notebook is HP Proboo 4410s.. Help me ...:confused:

What exactly did you do?
Do you see any error messages?

Thank's Falko. No error Message, only blank screen ... what i can do to see error message.

Seems to me like a X problem. Have you tried to boot in rescue mode (or single user mode) ?
What if you do a CTRL+ALT+Backspace ?
If you can boot in single user mod, try "startx" and let us now if it shows error messages.
Be aware that in single user mod only root is able to log in.
