access public html files
 

Hi to all.
A friend made me an account on his ispconfig server. i can access it through ftp or ssh, i can upload my html files, but I don't know how to see them in my browser. Shouldn't be normal to access my public html on a link like this http://myserver/~myuser/ ? Or how can I do this? I don't have a domain name yet added to this account

You can not reach files like this, there are no user websites. Ask your friend to create a website for you in ispconfig if you want to access your files trough the web.
