64 Bit?

I have these choices for OS

Debian 5.0
Ubuntu 8.04 LTS
CentOS 5
OpenSuse 11.0/11.1

all as 64bit as well

my dedicated remote servers hardware:

RAM 1 GB
CPU Opteron 146
HDD 160 GB (RAID 1)

what should I go with? should I use 64 bit?

I've been using openSuse 10.1 for a few years now with ServerAdmin24 but this is no longer available with my ISPs new boxes so I need to upgrade and I have to pay extra for Plesk hence ispconfig3 :p

I'm using debian at home, and at work,

cca 80 servers some 32bit, some 64 bit
with no problems :)

If you using more then 3.5 GB of memory: yes
you can reverse more then 1.5 GB of memory for mysql
we are using java applications, and there are litle improvements in performance

ah ok I just have 1gb RAM so I guess I should stick with 32bit. Thanks for the tips.
