Imap contacts and calendar
Hello!
I been searching the forums for a while but i didnt see this question/answer. My question is if there a way to sync calendar / contacts with using IMAP and courier? Or if there is a other way lightweight way (not exchange softwares, e.g zindra, openexchange) I use Perfect guide with debian etch (ispconfig) The background to the question is if u have many computing devices with a email client, e.g cellphone, laptop, ordinary computer and you want to have calendar/ contacts synced how are u doing this? Sure you can just copy all items to each of the devices but its take so long time and then u need to check if u update one, the other devices need to be updated too. All this leads to lot of work. I been checking on some group ware software, like exchange but i think its overkill. Maybe a topic like this exists but i have really looked for hours here without luck. |
I'm not sure if this is possible...

The only way I see this is possible is by using webdav, which is supported by a lot of clients. however there is no standard process of setting this up. Anyhow. Imap is a mail solution, you are looking for a groupware solution, so pretty soon you will end up with Exchange, Lotus notes or zimbra
