IP Address'
 

I am just wondering about the 'ip address'

Management->Server->Settings:

IP Address: Is this IP address the IP address of the server? I have it behind a firewall so would be something like 192.168.1.100? Or a public IP address?

IP List: Is this a list of external public IP address? I noticed when I add an IP address here, it shows up on the drop down list on the ISP Manager->ISP Site->IP Address, but it does not show up on the DNS Manager->DNS Entry->IP Address?


Should the IP address at DNS Manager->DNS Entry->IP Address be the local server internal address for routing internal email? Or external public IP address?

In the server settings and websites you use the internal IP. In dns manager the external IP.
